Aaron Williams, PT, DPT, CSCS
Aaron founded OSR Physical Therapy in 2002 in Anthem, AZ.  He received his BS in Biology from Graceland University in 1998, while playing college basketball. He then went on to receive his doctorate in physical therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2002.

From there he worked in an out-patient clinic in Sedona, AZ and at a skilled nursing facility in Mesa, AZ while developing plans for opening OSR Physical Therapy.
 


His professional interests are in sports medicine and orthopedics. Aaron specializes in out-patient orthopedics as well as post-surgical rehabilitation and functional training following injury.

Aaron is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NCSA), and is active in local business groups, Chambers of Commerce, church and charitable organizations. His hobbies and personal interests include: participating in sports, fishing, spending time in the mountains of Colorado, and traveling. Aaron and his wife, Kori, own OSR Physical Therapy, and together love spending time with their children, Emma and Sophie.

In 2007 Aaron was awarded the "Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce at Anthem Small Business Person of the Year Award" for his local support of Anthem and the surrounding communities. This strong community presence and OSR's mission to provide "Quality Rehabilitation through Personalized Care," has led to the expansion of OSR Physical Therapy across the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

  Kendra Kori Williams, PT, DPT, CSCS
Kori is a native of Arizona; born and raised in Kingman, Arizona. She received her BS in Exercise Science with a minor in chemistry from Northern Arizona University. Following her undergraduate degree, she pursued her graduate degree in Physical Therapy also at NAU. She graduated Summa Cum Laude. She has had clinical experience in out-patient orthopedics, pediatrics, acute rehabilitation, and home health care. She has primarily focused her career on post-surgical rehabilitation, work hardening, and sport injury care and rehabilitation.

Kori is a member of the APTA, NSCA, and is pursuing a manual certification through Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars. Her hobbies and personal interests include; traveling, water-skiing, team roping, and having fun in the sun with her husband Aaron Williams, and first baby girl, Emma Williams.

Mike Beebe, PT, DPT, CSCS
Mike earned his BA in Physical education from the University of California, Berkeley in 1993, while earning 3 varsity letters playing college football. During that time he served on the Incollegiate Performance Enhancement Advisory committee. He later became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 1994. In 1999, Mike received his Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Mike joined OSR Physical Therapy in May 2005 after 6 years in Redondo Beach and Tahoe City, California. Mike specializes in
 

orthopedics, sports and general rehabilitation both operative and non-operative.

Mike is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Mike enjoys the active lifestyle afforded by living in the Anthem community: participating in area events, playing recreational sports in the community and golfing. Mike and his wife, Jacki have a son and a daughter who both attend Anthem schools.

Everett Curtiss Young, PT, MPT
Curtis, joined the OSR Physical Therapy staff as Clinic Director in August 2009 at their new location in Gilbert. Curtiss received his Bachelor's degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. 

Later, he graduated in 2007 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, School of Allied Health Science with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Before joining the OSR team,Curtiss worked as a staff PT at

Physicians Physical Therapy Service in Chandler, where he gained experience in a wide variety of injuries, both chronic and surgical. 

His focus is orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation and recovery from the neck all the way down to the foot, and focusing on functional mobility and overall physical/athletic performance. He is also passionate about educating his patients and ensuring that they have the most relevant, reliable and accurate information regarding health, wellness and fitness.

Curtiss and his wife, Lindsey, moved to the “Grand Canyon State” after he finished school in 2007. When he is not treating patients, Curtiss is active at Sun Valley Community Church, routinely playing guitar for their main worship service, he also enjoys listening to music, exercise, and fitness. Curtiss is also interested in nutrition and overall health and fitness education for his patients and the local community.

Nicole Besana, PT, MPT
Nicole, originally from upstate NY, moved to Anthem after 5 years living in Nashu, New Hampshire while her husband, Gilbert served as an active duty officer in the United States Air Force. She gradated with honors- Summa Cum Laude with Masters in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College, NY in 2003 with a minor in nutrition science.

Her clinical focus in is outpatient orthopedics but also has clinical experience in acute rehabilitation.

She particularly loves working with the school-age children and the occasional toddler! Nicole's professional clinical education includes the spine, shoulder, and the foot and ankle. 

When working with patients, she likes to look at the "whole person" since many injuries will effect more than one area of the body. Nicole places a high priority in educating her patients, giving them knowledge they can use to prevent future injuries and to enjoy a healthier and happier life.

She is a retired competitive gymnast and has been a Certified Group Exercise Instructor/Personal Trainer for 12 years - teaching pilates, step, spin and many fitness activities. When she's not working with patients at OSR, Nicole enjoys traveling, yoga, running, biking (most any outdoor activity that gets the blood pumping), she also enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, Gilbert and her two daughters Juliet and Anastasia and her son Christian.

Sarah Harwell, PT, DPT
Sarah is a native of Tucson and graduate of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and went on to get her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005.

Sarah's clinical focus is in orthopedics with a special interest in the lumbar spine. She has spent much of her clinical education time with the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine and the majority of her physical therapy career with ProActive Physical Therapy in Tucson.

She and her husband, Erik, live in Gilbert. They spend time working out, geocaching, traveling, watching sports and playing with their dog, Liddy.

Kyle Bergeson, PT, DPT
Kyle is a native of Arizona and earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University in 2006. He furthered his education at the Arizona School of Health Sciences where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. Kyle has experience working with a wide spectrum of patients from professional athletes to the neurologically impaired, having interned with both the Milwaukee Brewers and Barrow Neurological Institute. During Physical Therapy school Kyle, received the Arizona School of Health Sciences Mission Award for best exemplifying his school's mission statement.

He has participated in medical mission outreaches to Central America and is a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Fountain Hills, AZ. Kyle is a weekend warrior, and enjoys anything active and competitive. Kyle's exemplary skills in patient care, his devotion to his patients and his natural tendency to be a leader and team builder earned him a promotion to Clinic Director of the OSR North Phoenix location in August 2011.

Shaun Palmer, PT, DPT, ATC
Originally from Tucson, Shaun received his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Grand Canyon University. He then went on to attend the Arizona School of Health Sciences, where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has a strong sports medicine background, furthered by his athletic training degree. He was an intern athletic trainer with the Oakland Raiders medical staff during the 2009 NFL season. He also interned with the Milwaukee Brewers over several different seasons, both as an Athletic Trainer and a Physical Therapist, and he continues to perform pre-season orthopedic exams for the organization.

Before joining OSR, Shaun spent the first year of his career working in outpatient physical therapy, with an emphasis on sports medicine. He joined the OSR North Phoenix clinic just as he and his wife moved up to the north valley. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Shaun also serves as adjunct faculty at Grand Canyon University, teaching in their Athletic Training and Pre-Physical Therapy programs.

Kurt Brownsberger earned his BS in Biology from the University of Vermont in 1985 while competing and coaching in the sport of cross-country skiing. He has a BA of Education and taught science and math in Africa while volunteering in the Peace Corps. Kurt has been certified by the US Ski Team as a Level II Nordic Coach and has traveled nationally and internationally with the US Ski Team. He has extensive experience coaching cross-country skiers, trail and road runners, swimmers and triathletes while operating the Alaska Sports Academy in Anchorage, Alaska.  

Since moving to Arizona from Alaska, Kurt has become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has worked for OSR since 2004 as a PT Technician. Kurt and his wife Kim live in Anthem with their three girls Kelsey, Kinley and Kendal. All five K's are extremely active in swimming, running, mountain biking, hiking and what ever other sport will get their heart pumping. Kurt is also an active member of his church, Grace North, playing the bongo and conga for the worship team.
