Team Building Day for OSR!
Earlier this month OSR held its bi-annual Team-Building Day. Employees from each of our four clinics gathered in Anthem to spend the afternoon together. We descended upon the local community park where we ate lunch (graciously prepared by Diane's husband, Gary), we discussed current topics of focus in our PT practice and we competed as teams to complete an activity/obstacle course. As we continue to grow, adding new staff is an exciting and essential part of the process. We believe it is critical that, as we expand, we continue to stay close as OSR staff and to work together to produce the highest quality patient care. Activities like this help us to bond, to laugh, to learn and to grow together. Thank you, Aaron (OSR CEO), for bringing us together for events like this - as you can see from the pictures, we had a BLAST!
Your opinion matters! We want to hear about your experience with OSR Physical Therapy. Please take 2 minutes to fill out our online survey accessed through the "Patient Survey" tab on our website www.osrphysicaltherapy.com.
Relay For Life 2010
OSR participated in its 5th Relay for Life (RFL) Cancer Walk on May 1st 2010. RFL, is a fundraising event for the American cancer Society. This event is designed to raise money for cancer research and celebrate survivorship while spreading awareness of cancer prevention, treatment, and research efforts. Thanks to your generous donations and the hard work of Team OSR we raised an estimated $1,200! This year our theme was "Veggin' For a Cure". We were promoting healthy eating, supported by a healthy lifestyle. Our team distributed informational packets and recipe booklets on healthy eating. As a whole, The Anthem Community Relay For Life raised over $31,000!. We hope you will join us again next year for an exciting emotional experience. Thank you for supporting our team! Together we can see a cure in our lifetime! Congrats to Anthem clinic patient Kristin Roles for winning the raffle prize, a spa package (donated by the Michael Alexander Salon & Spa in Anthem) Enjoy your spa experience Kristin!

This month we are spotlighting OSR employee Bridget Brennan. As an employee, she has been with us for over a year now, but Bridget and OSR go back even further - she and her husband were both patients of Aaron's a few years ago at the Anthem clinic. We're proud to say that some of OSR's best employees are also former patients. Bridget is a shining example of that, doing her part everyday at our North Phoenix clinic. She is a great multi-tasker, handling the busy front desk, keeping accounts, appointments and patient documents straight while making sure our patients feel well-cared-for and happy (patients especially enjoy walking through the door and seeing her bright, cheery smile). When not at work, Bridget stays very busy with her family - she has 2 daughters who both play competitive volleyball, which keeps the Brennan family traveling all over, to and from different tournaments. She spends time working out at the Mountainside Fitness facility, actively enjoying the variety of workout classes they offer. Ryan Kaler, PT, MPT Clinic Director adds "She is very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. She goes out of her way to help the staff and the PTs. She has contributed to the success of the clinic on many levels. And she buys us candy and coffee!" We are so glad to have Bridget as part of the OSR team.
Well Care Foundation
OSR Physical Therapy is proud to announce our support of the WellCare Foundation. WellCare provides free, integrated primary healthcare to single working mothers and their children not on state assistance who cannot afford insurance or pay for needed healthcare. We participated in their first annual Fit Family Run fundraising event on Saturday, May 1 and will continue to provide support through donation of clinical services to patients participating in their programs. Please take a moment to find out more about this very worthy organization by visiting www.wellcarefoundation.org.
