July 2011
And the winner is ...
The first round of our Refer-a-friend and WIN promotion has come to an end. The winner is Darlene Parrish! We are so proud of the wonderful community response we have received in regards to this promotion. Everyone was very supportive and we had many entry forms. Vice President of Public Relations, Veronica Cantu, randomly chose the winner on Tuesday July 12th. Darlene will redeem a trip of their choice worth $500. You could be the next winner!
This is going to be an ongoing contest for OSR so there is still plenty of time to get involved. We hope you enjoyed being a patient with us and were absolutely thrilled with your results. Don’t you want someone you know to have the same great experience? We will provide your friends and family with that same high quality care and personal service you received. Think of it as a win-win situation for all! Take just a moment and think about those you know, after all, you send us your referrals and we could be sending you on vacation! Keep an eye out for future issues of the OSR News where we tell you where The Parrish Family decided to go on their trip. Congratulations Darlene and we greatly appreciate the referral of your daughter Presley.
New Anthem Location Coming Soon
On to bigger and better things! That’s right, the Anthem clinic is upgrading to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. Don’t worry, the new clinic is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the old one. It will be located off of Daisy Mountain Drive and Anthem Way in the Anthem Village Center, just behind Walgreens and Sonic. We encourage you to drive by and become familiar with where we’ll be. Please visit facebook.com/osrpt for photo updates on the progress. So far things are on track and we anticipate seeing patients in the new clinic in August – we can’t wait to introduce you to this great new space!
OSR Gives Back
This past quarter all four of the OSR clinics participated in “Cooking for a Cause”. Each clinic picked a charity of their choice and every Friday would cook a meal in hopes of receiving donations from the patients. It has been a great success for us. On Thursday July 6th the Gilbert clinic turned in its donation. They choose to support The Foundation for Blind Children in Chandler, AZ. OSR presented the director Jean with $400 in Costco Gift Cards! The staff there was overwhelmed and extremely grateful to receive such a generous gift. The Foundation for Blind Children is a non profit organization. They have graciously opened its doors to children with all kinds of disabilities in relation to blindness since 1952. This was a wonderful experience for the OSR staff who attended the distribution of the gift cards. We received a warm welcome from the children and the staff of the foundation followed by a complete tour of the facility. Clinic Director Curtiss Young had this to say about the project. “It has been an awesome past several months. Knowing that the money we were raising would go to this great foundation, which does so much for disabled young people, encouraged the staff at OSR - Gilbert, and all of our patients who contributed to come together. It was a joy to see the kids, and also the volunteers at the Foundation for Blind Children, especially when we handed them the funds we had raised. We will certainly continue ‘Cooking for a Cause’ and I am looking forward to the next opportunity to give back to our community!” For more information on the Foundation for Blind Children visit www.seeitourway.org.
OSR Says Goodbye
We are sad to announce that long time employee of OSR, Office Manager Diane Greenough will be leaving us. Her husband has accepted a position in Texas and the whole family is headed to Austin! The Greenough’s have lived an active lifestyle in the Anthem community for eight years now. Diane has been an integral part of our staff in Corporate Office and has definitely been a key figure over the past several years as part of our team. Diane started off as a patient of Aaron’s three years ago and has been working with us ever since. Many friendships have formed and we are all sad to see her go. Diane, thank you for all of your years of hard work. You are much appreciated and will be missed.
Patient Appreciation Day - SUCCESS
June 23rd the Anthem clinic hosted OSR’s first annual Patient Appreciation BBQ. Thank you so much for all of you who came out in support of OSR. It was very nice to re-connect with so many past patients. Everyone had such wonderful stories and results to share with each other. It was appreciated greatly. Several people took home a variety of raffle prizes and K. Cook was the big winner on the square foot contest. We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. Many thanks to all from the OSR Staff.
